“The key guiding principles were to retain some of the existing solutions and create a unified space. To achieve this, we used common architectural elements, functional furniture, a color palette for differentiation, and other design solutions,” says lead architect Victoria Pozdnyakova about the project.
The concept is based on the client’s request and fully aligns with the company’s values.
The values of EDINOGO TSUPIS include responsibility, innovation, professionalism, openness, and trust. According to the technical specifications, the emphasis was on openness and transparency, but other values were also incorporated into the concept, zoning, equipment, and decor. For example, functionality is evident in the climate control systems and furniture, as well as in the overall comfort of employees.
EDINYI TSUPIS places great emphasis on attracting highly qualified specialists, so it was important to create a space that would catch the attention of potential employees and become a place of attraction even in a remote work setting. The key requirements for the space were functionality, minimizing distractions, and implementing modern technological solutions to optimize teamwork.
The layout of the new space was well-designed and functional, so the architects were able to accommodate the teams seamlessly, taking their requests into account and making only minimal changes to the layout. Thus, the office features open-plan workstations with maximum access to natural light, private offices for one or more employees, meeting rooms, restrooms, kitchens, utility rooms, and even a relaxation and recreation room.
“A people-centric approach and employee comfort were the main priorities when designing the new office. We managed to carry over all the warmth from the old space and enhance it with fresh air, plants, and modern design.
The large dining room, for example, is a real hub for colleagues to gather for celebrations and corporate events; in the small kitchen, you can have lunch in privacy and quiet, and the central coffee station lets you grab a quick bite or take a break without wasting time or running to the kitchen.
At the employees’ request, we opened a break room with a pull-up bar and a massage chair, which helps them effectively recharge during a busy workday, and the large number of meeting rooms—which take up about 15% of the office’s total area—has made the open workspaces much more comfortable, since now teams always have a place to discuss key issues without distracting other colleagues from their tasks,” says Victoria Pozdnyakova.
The architect notes that the large kitchen is a cozy space designed using a combination of colors, which unifies and highlights the overall purpose of this area.
In addition, a large, versatile meeting room is located behind the reception area. For example, it can serve as a yoga studio or be transformed to meet other employee needs.
Speaking of the reception area, the architects note that minimalist solutions were used here. “The reception area is built around a color block concept: the brand’s signature light green color transitions from the floor to the wall, forming a continuous visual plane. Against this backdrop, the sleek reception desk becomes a focal point without overwhelming the space or clashing with the existing finishes,” says Evgeny Kopak, the project’s chief architect, describing the architectural solution.
According to him, overall, the space utilizes several types of materials that best meet the client’s requirements: paint, stematil, decorative plaster or microcement, porcelain stoneware, and wood-effect panels. The lighting is designed according to the principle of functional zoning: uniform task lighting in the open space, and accent lighting in public areas and navigation points. Particular attention was paid to acoustic comfort, which is achieved through the use of sound-absorbing ceiling and wall panels, as well as carpeting.
To ensure acoustic comfort, the architects also divided the open space from the high-traffic area using custom-made functional mesh partitions with greenery. On the side facing the central aisle, they installed a Stemalite panel for signage, while on the opposite side, they installed an acoustic felt partition.
The color scheme features the company’s corporate colors—three shades of green. Plants located in the reception area and work zones enhance the overall comfort. “In working on this project, it was important for us to create an equitable and comfortable environment for two different teams to work together in a single office. We achieved this through shared architectural solutions, a neutral base, and the judicious use of corporate colors as a tool for identity, not division,” the architects explain.
The project’s lead architect, Evgeny Kovpak, emphasizes that such projects are important as examples of a professional and rational approach to office space redesign. They demonstrate that quality architecture is built on working with context and real-world conditions, rather than solely on formal concepts, especially given tight deadlines and a limited budget.
“EDINYI TSUPIS is a high-tech fintech company that brings together finance, IT, and sports. We don’t just follow technological trends—we shape the future of the payments industry.
Our work is based on two key elements: each employee’s responsibility for the quality of the result and team expertise, which allows us to solve problems that are beyond the reach of individuals.
The company’s values are the living code of our culture: technology as a core principle of our work, trust as the foundation of relationships within the team and with clients, accountability for every decision made, and continuous learning and knowledge sharing.
When designing the office, our goal was to create an environment that reflects this symbiosis: technological innovation—the integration of smart systems and the automation of routine processes; a people-centric approach—comfort, ergonomics, and care for employee well-being; and flexibility—spaces that adapt to different work scenarios.
We are pleased that our office features all the necessary types of spaces—bright, open areas for collaboration, quiet offices for tasks requiring concentration, and infrastructure that reduces the time spent on organizational processes.
“The new EDINYI TSUPIS office is the next step in the evolution of our work environment. It not only meets modern standards but anticipates the needs of tomorrow’s team,” summarizes Elena Sheykina, Chairman of the Board of EDINYI TSUPIS.
